Maui and Big Island Volcano Tour
See Both Maui and the Big Island from the Air!
Fly along the south shore of Maui past Haleakala Volcano (or, weather permitting, you will fly OVER Haleakala!) and then cross the Alenuihaha Channel to the northern tip of the Big Island. You will then fly over the Parker Ranch, view the world class observatories at the top of Mauna Kea and fly over Kilauea proceeding to the active volcano area. Leaving the active area, you will fly over Hilo and Akaka Falls and follow the Hamakua Coast of the north shore. You will then see the spectacular Kohala Cliffs and Waterfalls, cross the channel again, fly over Heavenly Hana and follow the north shore of Maui back to your point of origin.
Sunset Volcano Tour
Watch the Sunset while Soaring High in the Sky!
This tour flies you along the north shore of Maui to Heavenly Hana and then across the Alenuihaha Channel to the north shore of the Big Island. You will see spectacular Kohala Cliffs and Waterfalls, and then follow the Hamakua Coast to Akaka Falls and on to Hilo. The tour will then take you to the active volcano viewing areas that are accessible only by air.
Tandem Paragliding
Tandem Instruction is perfect for those who would like to try paragliding for the first time. No experience is necessary!
This flight begins from Echoes Launch, which is 4,500 feet high and a 1,000 foot descent to the landing zone and is located within Poli Poli Flightpark. Echoes is simply the top of the training hill. With a thousand feet of grass, and numerous top landing potentials, it is the perfect place to hone your skills. The best thing about Echoes is that the clouds usually form above the launch. Add to this a drive up time of less than five minutes. It's possible to get over fifteen flights in one morning!
This flight begins from Ferns Launch, which is 6,500 feet high and is a 3,000 foot descent to the landing zone and is located within Poli Poli Flightpark. The first flight of the day is usually a sled ride in calm air. Perfect to start the day off and get into your groove. The second flight you can expect to get some mild lift, approximately 100 to 300 fpm. Sadly, some days we are not able to take another flight from Ferns launch due to cloud development. However, on the good days you will be able to launch three or four times from Ferns before the clouds shut down the launch. On these flights you can expect to get lift at 300 fpm to 600 fpm!

Tandem Paragliding:
To fly tandem with one of Proflyght's instructors you must meet the following requirements:
Be between the ages of 7 and 70, physically able to run, and weigh less than 230 lbs.
Departure Point: Proflyght Paragliding Location in Maui
Directions: From the airport take Highway #37 (Haleakala Hwy) for 13.5 miles to Rice Park. Turn Left after Rice Park to 377 (just past mile marker 13). Then take your first right on Waipoli Rd. Follow "Waipoli Rd." for 1.5 miles. After you cross a cattle guard you are almost there. Look for the Proflyght sign and wind socks.
Passengers should meet at this address approximately 30 minutes prior to departure.
