Easy and Fun Kayaking and Snorkeling Adventure!
Be it families with kids, "mature paddlers" or even young couples who would like to relax to the max, everyone will enjoy this three hour excursion. Redesigned in 2005, Discovery eloquently combines two snorkeling destinations with leisurely morning paddling that avoids the crowds created by all the "other trips" departing Makena at 7:00-7:15am.
Explore the Underwater World of Molokini!
Our day begins at Kihei Boat Ramp in Kihei. When you arrive, you will see our boat, Seafire at the dock waiting. Our small group charters assure you personal attention and plenty of space on-board.
Don't forget your towel and sunscreen, and we will take care of the rest including snorkel gear, snacks and drinks.
Turtles, whales, coral, beautiful vistas....does it get any better? Come along for 3.5 hours of awesome fun that you'll remember forever and tell all your friends back home about!
Due to the intermediate nature of Whales, age 12 is the youngest age allowed on the trip.
The classes are two hours long and include instruction on the use of a rashguard, surf shoes, a soft top surfboard, and safety fins. The lessons include an approximate fifteen minute land lesson on the basics of surfing, emphasizing water safety. The rest of the time is spent with an instructor in the water teaching you how to catch your own waves and giving great surfing tips!
Group lessons are ideal for the inexperienced surfer who wants to learn the basics of surfing and catch their first Hawaiian wave! For children 7 and under, parent participation is suggested.
The best of Maui from the air and then descend 100 feet below the sea. Climb above central Maui and ascend the world's largest dormant volcano, Haleakala (Literally "house of the sun") and discover its immense moonlike crater with pure iron oxide cinder cones towering over 1,100 feet tall. See Kaupo and Ko'olau Gaps, the huge lava flows from the crater to the sea. Hana's nearly uninhabited "back side" is home of the "Seven Pools" and Lindberg's grave. The Hana Rain Forest extends for over 180 square miles along Maui's northern coast and is the largest tropical rain forest in our nation. Tour includes views of Old Hana Town, Haleakala National Park, Kipahulu, the taro field of Ke'anae, fabulous coastline waterfalls and the world famous Ho'okipa windsurfing beach on the return.
