©2006 Maui Air ToursMaui and it's neighboring islands are best seen from the air as the vast majority of each island is inaccessible from the ground. One of the best values on Maui is the active volcano air tour of Maui and the Big Island of Hawaii (the two largest Hawaiian islands) in one of Volcano Air Tours' comfortable, air-conditioned, twin-engine, ten seat airplanes. Each passenger has their own large window in two abreast seating and a stereo headset for music and expert pilot narration. See Madam Pele's current activity at the world's most active volcano. Volcano Air Tours is a FAA certified Part 135 air carrier with a perfect safety record.
In 2 hours you can see rain forests, Heavenly Hana, spectacular beaches including black sand beaches, scenic coastline views, dramatic cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and the world's largest dormant volcano (Haleakala) on Maui and lava flows in an active volcano area on the Big Island of Hawaii. During whale season you may spot whales, and, if you are really lucky, you might find a full circle rainbow while flying around a little rain shower. Each tour is a unique adventure with different sights to see, so remember to take your cameras and lots of extra film and wear dark shirts to reduce glare for photos. Volcano activity and weather are variable making each tour a unique adventure!

©2006 Maui Air ToursIt is very important that each passenger provides Maui Air with their accurate body weight for the weight and balance of the airplane and the safety of all passengers on board. The FAA may require Maui Air to weigh passengers at the airport before boarding the airplane. If a passenger weighs more than the information on the manifest, that passenger could get taken off the flight without a refund. Passengers that weigh 260-290 pounds will be sur-charged for the comfort seat with a seat belt extender. Passengers must weigh less than 290 pounds for safety reasons.
Infants, under 2 years, may be held in parent's lap at parent's own risk. Children, 2 years or older, must pay for a seat and wear a seat belt.
Passengers must be physically able to climb the two steps by themselves to board the airplane. And due to FAA regulation, passengers in wheelchairs or with oxygen bottles cannot be accommodated. Passengers who have gone SCUBA diving wihin 24 hours prior to flying WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT.
