North and South shores and the entire Central Valley of Maui are laid out before you for incredible pictures! You'll be riding through and hearing about paniolo (Hawaiian cowboy) history as well!

The Hawaiian cowboy pre-dates the American cowboy by about 50 years, so cattle ranching occupies a significant chapter in Hawaii’s history! Historic Haleakala Ranch comprises a large portion of Maui’s high country. Ride through Maui's largest working cattle ranch with lush rolling pastureland and stunning ocean views for a truly unforgettable experience!

Directions:
From the West Side/Lahaina Side: Head back to the main airport on hwy 30; turn right on hwy 380; turn right on 36 by K-Mart; short distance – turn right on hwy 37 (crater hwy and follow signs to the national park); go up 7 miles and depending on the day of the week, you will automatically be led into 377 due to morning traffic cones or you will turn left on 377. Continue 5.5 miles on hwy 377 until hwy 378 and turn left. Go 2.5 miles up 378, on the left hand side there is a red building that says Pony Express and that is the Ranch Office.
From South Maui/Kihei side: Head back to the main airport on hwy 311, turn right on 380 by the church, right on 36 by K-Mart, right on 37; go up 7 miles and you will be led into 377 or you turn left on 377; go 5.5 miles on 377 to 378 turn left; go 2.5 miles up 378 and on the left is the red building that says Pony Express.

This tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations made 24 hours from check in time for groups of 1-2 people will be charged in full; For groups of 3- 4 people, 48 hours notice of cancellation is required and groups of 6 or more people require a minimum of 72 hours notice of cancellation or tours will be charged in full. There is a 10% administrative fee for cancellations not before previously listed time frames.

Recommended for all Pony Express Horseback Rides: Long pants, closed toe shoes like a sneaker, to dress in layers with a warm outer jacket, hat, and wear maximum sunscreen.

Weather: Tour route or activity may be changed depending on local weather conditions.

Refreshments are included. Meals, Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included.
