This tour is Kelii's newest and most challenging kayaking and snorkeling adventure. Take a trip to the renowned Molokini Crater, Maui's premier marine sanctuary boasting water visibility over 150 feet.

This is a great option for those individuals looking for something a little more physically demanding. The tour starts at sunrise from Makena Landing on Maui's South Shore. The paddle to Molokini takes a little over an hour, about 3 miles in distance (each way). Upon arrival at Molokini, guests snorkel the back wall, away from the masses. Here, you will find up to 200 feet of visibility and some of the most spectacular sea life in all of Maui! From tiny reef fish to large manta rays, to the local monk seal, Molokini Crater is never short on interesting things to look at!

On the paddle back to Makena Bay the tour makes another stop to snorkel in Turtle Town where the name says it all! Guests will snorkel up close with Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. On any Kelii's Kayak Tour, safety is always the first priority. Due to the physically demanding nature of this tour in particular, every precaution is taken, including employing a standby power safety boat that is always less than 5 minutes away if needed.

This tour offers guests a unique way to experience Molokini: quiet, private and without the large crowds associated with other Molokini boat tours. This unique kayaking and snorkeling adventure is sure to be an unforgettable experience!

Important Details:This tour does not operate daily and requires a minimum of 6 people to confirm departure. Paddling experience is recommended. All paddlers must be over 16 years of age. Those that are prone to motion sickness should take proper precautions prior to the tour. Weight limits apply when scheduling this tour.

Tours depart from: Makena Landing

From West Maui (Kapalua, Ka'anapali & Lahaina): (Travel time approximately 60 minutes) Proceed down Highway 30 to the intersection with North Kihei Road (Highway 31). Proceed South to the end of Highway 31, which terminates at a stoplight in Wailea. Go left at the stoplight onto Wailea Alanui Road. Proceed 2.5 miles south and turn right at the blue sign that says "Makena Landing". Proceed to the bottom of the hill and park anywhere.

From South Maui (Kihei and Wailea): (Travel time approximately 10 minutes) Proceed south on either Highway 31 (inland) or South Kihei Road (oceanside). You will run into the stoplight in Wailea that is in front of the "Shops at Wailea." Go South on Wailea Alanui Road. Proceed 2.5 miles and turn right at the blue sign that says "Makena Landing". Proceed to the bottom of the hill and park anywhere.

This tour must be booked at least 72 hours in advance of your travel date. Your confirmation for this product will be received within 12- 24 hours subject to availability.

Cancellation and No Show Policy

Cancellations within 24 hours of the tour are charged in full. Cancellations prior to 24 hours are charged a minimum $10.00 per person administration fee. We charge for NO SHOWS. No Shows on tour dates are charged 100%. Some specific tours and activities have a higher cancellation fee due to the limited space available.

Recommended for all tours with Kelli's Kayak Tours: Comfortable shoes (for hiking), bathing suit, towel, hat, sunscreen. All items worn or brought into the kayak WILL GET WET. Small drybags are provided for personal items (i.e.wallet, glasses, etc.).

Weather: Tour route, activity, or departure point may be changed depending on local weather conditions.

Gratuities and Souvenirs are not included. Snacks, beverages and light lunch are included.
