Poli Poli Flight Park is managed by Proflyght Paragliding. This is the main paragliding site on Maui. It is flyable 330 days a year. Located on the lee side of Mt. Haleakala, it is protected from the trade winds. This unique geography allows an area of calm air to set up each morning. As the sun rises from behind Mt. Haleakala it heats up the ground in the calm air bubble. Rising air currents allow us to begin launching about two hours after sun rise.
